ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I've lived in Marin for just over 10 years—longer than my time in Florida and just shy of my years in NYC. When my husband and I were leaving New York, we had the rare opportunity to choose where we wanted to build our next chapter—a place to raise our kids and a community that reflected what mattered most to us: being surrounded by nature and finding an aligned and strong social fabric for our family.
We debated between Southern and Northern California and quickly realized that while I could love both, my husband was meant to be here. And I couldn’t be happier that we landed in Marin, specifically Mill Valley. This place has become our community in every sense of the word.
It’s also where I rediscovered photography after a 20-year hiatus. And honestly, it’s hard not to take a great shot here—the light, the landscape, everything just works in your favor. While this is just a small selection of my Marin photos, I hope it reflects the beauty and spirit of the place I’m lucky enough to call home and love so dearly.
